Win rate — definition & meaning

The percentage of your trades that end in profit.

Win rate is simply the share of trades that make money. A 60% win rate means six of every ten trades are winners.

A high win rate alone does not mean profit — small wins and large losses can still lose money. Win rate only makes sense alongside risk-reward and how big your average win and loss are.

The information on Trding.io is for general information only and is not investment advice. Trading involves a real risk of losing money, and most retail traders lose. Never trade money you cannot afford to lose.
