Trading journal — definition & meaning

A record of your trades used to learn from wins and mistakes.

A trading journal logs every trade — the setup, size, result and your reasoning — so you can spot patterns in your behaviour and improve.

It is one of the cheapest ways to get better. Many traders discover their real problem (over-sizing, cutting winners early, ignoring stops) only once it is written down in front of them.

The information on Trding.io is for general information only and is not investment advice. Trading involves a real risk of losing money, and most retail traders lose. Never trade money you cannot afford to lose.
