Paper trading — definition & meaning

Practising trades with fake money to learn without financial risk.

Paper trading means placing trades on paper or in a simulator using virtual money, so you can practise a strategy without risking real capital.

It is great for learning a platform and testing ideas, but it can't reproduce the emotions of risking real money. Treat it as a stepping stone, not proof you are ready to trade live.
