What is happening
You sent money to fund your account but the balance has not updated. Most of the time the funds are in transit or attached to the wrong reference, not lost. A calm, methodical check finds them.
Common causes
Bank transfers taking one to several business days, longer for international payments. A missing or wrong payment reference, so the broker cannot match your money to your account. Card payments pending or declined by your bank. Sending to the wrong account details. Or the deposit sitting in a manual review queue on first funding.
Step-by-step check
Confirm the money actually left your account and note the reference. Check you used the exact bank details and reference the broker provided. Allow the normal processing time for your method before chasing.
If time has passed, contact support with proof of payment (a screenshot or receipt) and the reference. For card issues, check with your bank whether the charge was declined or is pending.
How to prevent it
Always include the exact reference the broker asks for, double-check destination details, and keep the payment receipt. Deposit small first if you are unsure, so any mistake is minor.
Broker's fault or yours?
Usually it is banking time or a reference/detail slip on your side, and easily traced. If you can prove funds arrived at the broker and it still will not credit them after a reasonable time, that is on the broker — and a broker that cannot resolve a documented deposit is a concern.
